[Thanks to his flaw when casting magic, Cynric has always been bursting with energy and has never been sick a day in his 1,100 years. But now that it's gone, all sorts of germs have decided he's a fresh new playground! He wakes up with just your run-of-the-mill cold, but, well, this is Cynric. He has no idea what is happening.

Here comes a panicked call to one and all!]

People! Someone! I need help!! [Coughcoughcough.] Oh goodness. Oh goodness. Citizens of Mayfield, my time is short. I do believe I'm dying. If... if someone makes it out of here, tell Luther and Aler--[Sneeze!] Oh my LORD! This is disgusting! Can anything be done about this?! What did I do when the kids were sick.... no! I have no magic now! Does anyone have medicine? Please, before it's too late! [Coughcough]

Oh? What kind of medicine? [Hey, he's got the pharmacy job, and since Ema was helpful enough to give him the run-down of things, he now knows what most of them are for!]

[Zevran doesn't know whether to laugh at him or pat him on the head; he settles for grinning.] It doesn't seem serious, you know. Perhaps a cold...? [Mind you, serious or not, Zev doesn't actually recall Ema pointing out any medicine that specifically cures colds...]

A cold... were colds always this bad?! I don't ever remember--[sneeze] I know Alton got them a lot but he never said they were--[coughgcoughcough]

Never! Healthy as a horse! Good diet and all that! But- [coughs. He turns to you with big eyes.] Do you have anything to take care of this? This is the future after all!

Yes, it is, but...I had someone show me most of the products in the pharmacy, and she never mentioned something that cures colds. Perhaps they are simply left to go away on their own, as they are in my time? [Still, he feels bad - this is the second sick kid who's come to him he couldn't help! - so he makes an effort.] I could make you some tea, perhaps?

Tea it is, then! [And he goes to make some, coming back with a cup of fairly generic tea several minutes later.] Was I wrong to guess you would like sugar in it?
