[Action A: Guess who is all up in your business today, Mayfield! Cynric hasn't gotten all of his magic back, just two spells so far. One allows him to speak to his creations, which is only his dodo Hephaestus at the moment. The other is a magic detection spell that lets him find sources of magic within about a 50 yard radius of himself. these were affects that he always had going and greatly missed. Now that he has the latter back, he's on a mission to find all the different kind of magic there is in town! Do you have a magical item or affect on you? Cynric will be following you, and he's hardly subtle. If he gets a ping from your house or garage, he'll be peeking in windows to see what he find. Whatever he might find, he's heading towards it.

Action B: Later, to any visitors at the bowling alley have to put up with him as an attendant. Except usually all he's doing is bowling too. He's terrible at it, but enjoys every minute of it. He's tickled when he manages to knock anything down, and like an excited child, will get the attention of someone nearby to show off.]

[He always gets to this point then has no idea how to approach the subject. Magic isn't something spoken of in public where he's from, and old habits die hard.]

Oh, no, I had to strike a bargain with the postman. I was without my left arm and one of my kidneys for a time, but after a week I was right as rain!

Wait, you were fixed?! But I did the same thing just to get my clothes back, and ended up trading back a few days later. Not only was operating with three less fingers annoying, all I did was bleed all over them anyway.

Memories? Now that would be a problem. Knowledge is power, after all. It wouldn't do at all to lose memories of my training in the Order.

Oh, many! Not at the moment since the town still hasn't given me back everyone. I mostly do creation magic, you see. Golems and chimera and the like. I only have two very minor spells back a the moment, though.

Ah, a summoner! I don't have much personal experience with that sort of spellcraft, but I've heard it's quite powerful.

Oh, I'm not a summoner. Well, I was, a long time ago, but since I learned to make my own creatures, I haven't needed to use summoning in a long time.

You just create them out of nothing? Surely you must be mistaken. They can't possibly come from nowhere at all. If it were simply borrowing the energies of an adjacent plane of existence, that would make perfect sense, but what you are describing is a blatant violation of the Law of Conservation of Magic!
