[Well Cynric finished his job! Aren't you all so glad you helped him? He's a bit upset that he didn't get any money for it, or even any food at this point, but a job well done is a job well done, at least.

After school that day (of which he may have accidentally wandered away from), he can be seen sitting on his porch, squinting at a piece of paper, trying to decifer its meaning.]


Wonder what this is supposed to be! Second Great War? I don't recall a first one of those... what the in world is a "missile"?

[Besides being hungry and a bit tired, Cynric was fine as well! But this boy has lived though far, FAR worse than Soviet Mayfield could ever hope to throw at him.

It seems like a propaganda article of the Cold War, but I'm not really sure...

A missile is... how should I explain it... Do you know what a rocket is? Basically missile is a big rocket that is launched and once it hits, it explodes. It's weapon they use mostly during wars.

Cold War... [He mulls that over a moment.] Well I was never one for keeping the names of wars straight. Or is this another war of the future?

Oh! A rocket. Interesting! Hmm. I don't like the sound of an attack of those.

Well they have quite the destructive power when they hit something.

Hmmm. What can we do in case of attack? There's not much to defend ourselves with!

[ Chuckle. ] Perhaps, but who knows if the town is from the future as well.

Hm, there really wouldn't be much for us to do than hide and for the best... Especially know that the town has taken all of our belonging away from us again, I doubt people have their usual weapons.

I'm not sure if it's possible. If you happened to get this piece of paper as a reward for completing your task, it might be because they are trying to imply something, but like always, they aren't going to reveal anything just [ Snaps his fingers. ] like that.

So right now the best we can do is hope they give more hints and try asking if anybody else got something like this as a reward. Hopefully we are able to find out more before the town decides to do something even more rash...
