[A call is made to 1669 Nelson St. Cynric runs to answer the phone every time it rings - such a fascinating device! - and talks the ear of anyone who might be calling. But this time it's from the school, asking why he hasn't been attending. School? Ridiculous! He's way too old for school. But after some chatting he's convinced into going. Mayfield has placed him as a high school freshman.

Naturally, he loves it. There's all these people to talk to, and interesting things to learn. He's enthusiastic about everything. He has a hard time sitting still for a whole class, and has a tendency to wander off, but he goes in between asking thoughtful, intelligent questions to inquiring about the teacher's favorite color.

Mayfield High, a weird, curious little man has been let loose in your school. Maybe he's crashed the class you're teaching, or perhaps he's sitting next to you reading over your shoulder, or joining you at lunch without asking, or is completely failing to understand how dodgeball works. He wants to meet and talk with people and ask you a million questions. So, can Cynric interrupt your school day? Feel free to poke/bully/etc.!

I've just...always been able to draw... [Well, no. She learned on her own. But that's her fault for not explaining it right.]

You'd really do that?! [So very excited!] It's been a long time since I've had my portrait done!

[She shifts around to face him directly and turns to a fresh page. Then, after a moment's consideration, she starts sketching.]

Tell me about where you're from, I'll see if I can make it look close...

Originally? I'm from Wales originally! And then a lot of other places. But then the US recently.

[Hard to tell, really, his accent is sort of all over the place.]

...I've...never heard of Wales... But the US, too? [She starts sketching a generic city sort of scene around him--modern, with graffiti and cars and such.]

Yes! San Francisco currently. Are you sketching the future? [The moderness of the city she's drawing interests him greatly.]

...You're from the past?? [She turns to a fresh page and starts sketching him again, this time uncertain about what to do with the background.]

Yes! Compared to here. But I've been meeting people from all over! I come from 1901. The future is amazing!

1901? That's....that was over a hundred years ago.... [Confused; she doesn't know what to draw. She also failed history. Have a medieval looking village scene.]

Oh, so you're from the future too? Like the girl from 2019?


[The new background makes him happy too.] Oh, that's also good! Like way back when. Well actually it was kind of boring, but that was a long time ago now.

...2010. ...This is the past to you? [She frowns deeply and tries again on a fresh page, sketching a 1930's noir-esque scene. She's getting closer, at least!]

Oh yeah, that was sort of like waaaaay back when I was born. Long time ago. [He nods.

The new scene intrigues him (but what doesn't?), even though that'd still be the future to him.] Oooh, I like that!

Does that look like home? [She's getting a bit frustrated with guessing random things, but she doesn't know how to ask him to be more specific.]
