[Action A: Guess who is all up in your business today, Mayfield! Cynric hasn't gotten all of his magic back, just two spells so far. One allows him to speak to his creations, which is only his dodo Hephaestus at the moment. The other is a magic detection spell that lets him find sources of magic within about a 50 yard radius of himself. these were affects that he always had going and greatly missed. Now that he has the latter back, he's on a mission to find all the different kind of magic there is in town! Do you have a magical item or affect on you? Cynric will be following you, and he's hardly subtle. If he gets a ping from your house or garage, he'll be peeking in windows to see what he find. Whatever he might find, he's heading towards it.

Action B: Later, to any visitors at the bowling alley have to put up with him as an attendant. Except usually all he's doing is bowling too. He's terrible at it, but enjoys every minute of it. He's tickled when he manages to knock anything down, and like an excited child, will get the attention of someone nearby to show off.]

Oi! Did you see that? Got those two right on the end!

[[Theta is out for her daily walk, though she looks decidedly troubled. She has for the past month, really. She nods politely to Cynric, though without a smile. She doesn't really have it in her to smile right now.

What she does have, however, are two magical items on her person, one around her weak knee, and one perched on her shoulder.]]

[He's also looking at these points on magic on Theta's person, trying to figure out what is causing them.]

[[She sighs, and one of those points of magic moves slightly--a clockwork cockroach crawls out from under her scarf and nuzzles against the side of her neck, trying to comfort her.]]

Ah, if only I could. This place would be so much better, then.

[Oh, so that's what it was! Fascinating! He's not so subtely trying to get a better look. Luckily, Theta's not much taller than Cynric.]

[[She follows Cynric's eyes, and she's happy to let him be a distraction to her from what she's feeling. She picks up the roach and holds it out to him.]]

He's a clockwork. I made him by hand. [[She smiles weakly; she's obviously proud of it, but something's really bothering her if Theta's missing an opportunity to wax poetical about her own awesomeness.]]

Oh, very nice! [Sort of like a clockwork golem, he figures. he leans in to get a better look. What is personal space.]
